Update: Pre op was very informative and helpful, I was made to feel more comfortable about my surgery and recovery. Fear of the unknown and after care continues and so it should. Time drags on til the surgery. Knowing I have a great team behind me through this brightens the lite at the end of the tunnel !

I too am about to have RC and want to see more discussion forums, these truly help and updating them as we proceed could be valuable information for all affected. Thank You, God Bless

September 9, 2015 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Calendar for September 2015 – Who is up for surgeries, treatments, tests etc.? #19530jimdickenson@rogers.comParticipantUpdate: visit to family doc to assure head is firmly in place, pre op Friday information overload and reality check no doubt. Curiosity got the better of me so I visited a Bladder surgery site, bad idea, went to the speciality store to look at stuff, bad idea again, the need to know information and publications were a little frightening but I believe necessary to get mentally prepared. Surgery scheduled in couple more weeks, wish it was sooner, need to go to the recovery side of this. Family all aware and standing by. All symptoms of grief forever present as all can relate. My higher power will guide me on this path I must walk.
jimdickenson@rogers.comParticipantOn the lighter side, because I have hearing aids, wear glasses, have dentures, now this, I had a tee shirt made for my recovery ” SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED “
jimdickenson@rogers.comParticipantso many words of support from so many people, trust me it helps !!
jimdickenson@rogers.comParticipantThank You Gord.
jimdickenson@rogers.comParticipantdon”t know if this is where I ask the question…..was there any questions @ pre op about Rad Bladder removal that you wished you had asked ?
