I am having my 6 month ct, post radical cystectomy, June 10. I think a person is always on edge when you’re due for a follow up test/scan. I’m certain I will have a clear ct but it still weighs on my mind and of course any little or big aches is always something sinister.

I have scar tissue blocking my left ureter from previous Turbt so will have a stent until my treatments are all done. He replaced the stent last week with no problem and will replace every 3 months with regular cystoscope. I have HG non invasive and have had 3 recurrences in 2 yrs so have been told that if it returns again I will probably need a cystectomy. Fingers crossed!

I ended up on antibiotics so couldn’t have the last treatment. Scope was clear!! I will start my 3 maintenance treatments in a couple of weeks. This was the best news news I’ve had in a year.

The carpet like recurrence is non-invasive but high grade. I will start BCG treatment in a couple of weeks. Does anyone have any links that I could read up on what to expect, etc with BCG. does it burn when it’s put in the bladder, side effects, etc. Once again, thanks in advance.
