Really good meeting in Winnipeg tonight with about 100 people present. Three very interesting presentations by three specialists along with a very informative presentation by a social worker from Cancer Care Manitoba. Ken, Barry and their wives and other volunteers outdid themselves. Dr D shared his friendship and expertise with several of us over dinner later. Altogether a very enjoyable and educational evening. Thank you to all who made it possible.
GregI’m glad to know that it went well. When I did the phone registration for this event there were quite a few people with a lot of questions. I hope that our efforts are paying off. I know that people that attended the Calgary conference last year were very happy that they did.
Had a few emails from patients today that attended the conference. In a few words they simply said “The Speakers Were Amazing”.
Thanks to all the volunteers, speakers and all the patients, caregivers, and families that attended.
Well done Winnipeg!
