Why is it after you wash your kitchen floor you or someone else (usually hubby or one of the kids) almost always spills something on it, requiring you to do another wash?
why is it when you drop something on your floor it always lands butter/jam/sticky side down?
Why is it when you bend down to pick something off the floor you often drop it and have to bend down again?
Why is it when you go down to the basement to get something out of the freeer you almost always have to go back down as you didn’t get what you wanted in the first place or forgot what you were going for?
Why is it hubbies and kids can’t find something when they ask you and you go and look it is right in the location where you said it was?
Why is it that kids tell you that they need poster paper for a school project at 10PM on a Sunday night and the project is due at 9AM Monday morning?
You guys get the idea… What else can you come up with?
January 29, 2013 at 8:29 pm #14909JeanneParticipantWhy is it , when you find just the right gift for a grandkid, they always already have it!
Why is it, just when dinner is almost ready, hubby says, I’m not too hungry tonight .
Why is it your doctor acting like you are an addict when you need pain pills?
January 29, 2013 at 9:55 pm #14910GregParticipantWhy is it when you lose one sock and throw the other one away, then you always find the first one?
Why is it when a man speaks in a forest and no one is around to hear him, he is still wrong?

January 31, 2013 at 4:50 am #14912marysueParticipantWhy is it when you provide your teenage son with a laundry hamper he still insists on leaving dirty clothes on the floor?
Why do kids, when asked give one or both answers to a question, “I dunno.” or “Not me.” even when you know that they know the answer?
Why do kids always ask “Are we there yet? even when they know that we aren’t?

January 31, 2013 at 3:43 pm #14914KIOWAParticipantYou must be desperate for answers, Marysue, since you posted this twice in a row. But my answer to your questions is simply I dunno. It definitely was not me. And I always use the hamper except when I don’t. And the floor is a good drop off point and it keeps the floor warm too. Have you no compassion? Maybe that’s why my wife told me to grow up. I dunno.

February 4, 2013 at 3:46 pm #14915marysueParticipantI have another for the day…. Why is it hubbies will say to their wives that they can go ahead and make the decision on something and then they get upset at their spouse’s choice? We are in the midst of planning a kitchen reno. My hubby was leaving it up to me for most of the details with the reasoning that I’m the one who is in the kitchen the most. However I brought him along because he is notorious for not liking something I pick. Since this involves lots of $$$ I want the kitchen to be something we both like. I’m glad he came along because sure enough he wasn’t happy with my idea for countertop choice. We are getting together with a kitchen person tonight to help us pull everything together and get an estimate. Hopefully there will be a countertop we both like. I think I will definitely hear from Greg and Kiowa on this one.
February 4, 2013 at 5:10 pm #14916KIOWAParticipantAsk the kids next time.
February 5, 2013 at 8:07 pm #14917marysueParticipantNo need to ask the kids… Found one heck of a kitchen expert at the stores. She answered a ton of questions. Didn’t get to the counter top yet. She is working on our budget and what we can get on our “wish list” for that. My hubby got his two cents worth in since pennies are no longer valued. But, that being said why is it that products are manufactured only in one part of the country, assembled in another and finally shipped to the store where you buy it from?
