ParticipantHe’s here. Right where you can keep an eye on him. Or a boot or a foot. OK. So y’all want to know what I have been up to, or down to. It’s been a messy rainy cold winter here. Have not seen this for over 30 years. My asthma has been a real diversion, my allergies could not be worse and I have a headache that has been relentless. I see my doc tomorrow to get started on figuring out what is causing it. It’s probably sub-clinical and we’ll never know but I seriously doubt it is anything earth shaking. It’s probably the result of Greg picking on me all the time. Plus it’s been busy at my wife’s company and the B+B I don;t feel like working that much anymore. Things with law enforcement have been very quiet fortunately. In any event I am OK but negligent for not checking in and I apologize for that. For those who have been thinking of me, which I think is all of you, I apologize. Just been sleeping a lot. And tomorrow I get to have a root canal. Not really sure where they are going to do it. Scary! I was born without a sense of fear much to my family’s dismay (and my wife’s) EXCEPT for root canals. And this is the first one and for the first time in my life I am scared to death. Cancer does not scare this much. Maybe I can run away. I miss all of you, but I have still been missing you and praying for all of you while I have been sleeping. Now I have to catch up with Gregory and do some serious but kicking.

InactiveI waited and waited for the tequila to arrive on my birthday but alas it was not to be.
Sleeping eh? That’s all? nothing wild and crazy?
Well, although you have been neglectful we will let it go this time…but don’t let it happen again Ki. Otherwise, we will send Greg to live in Texas. You think he’s bugging you now…wait till he is down the street.
Glad to know you are ok and catching up on some zzzzzzs.
Hey, if you can handle bladder cancer, a root canal should be no problem. But just in case, I will make a special request for Mike to watch over you.

KeymasterGlad you are back. Root canal just sounds scary, piece of cake really. I have prostate biopsies on Wednesday, now that is scary, I think!
You don’t know winter until you have lived in Canada, coldest and most snow in many many years. Tonight will be a nice -37C.
All the best,

ParticipantThanks for asking Mike to look after me. I know I can trust Mike.
Jack, I would rather have a broken arm than to have dental work. I,ve had both and I prefer the broken bones. Fortunately my dentist is a good friend and likes me. Have no idea why. Maybe because we both like to live on the edge. I never had a problem with prostate biopsies. Maybe because I was enjoying a good cocktail just before. But good luck. I pray for you and everyone while I have the oil rig drilling 20K feet into my tooth. Or I’ll think of Greg and all he’s been through. Maybe I’ll think up a good poem. I really think we should have a poem contest. At least me, Greg and Now of course Kit. Now I’m all better. Thanks.

ParticipantKi, a root canal? Really? Oh, wait, are they going in from the urethra to do it? I remember having a cysto that felt like they might as well do a root canal while they were there.
But I did have one root canal a few years ago at a dentist. I had absolutely no problems with it. I often find that the anticipation is much worse than the reality and that was certainly the case.
Sorry for your health woes. Recurring pain and persistent inability to breathe well must be two of the worst maladies to have. I wish I could help. My prayers are not a last resort, however, they tend to be a first resort for me. You’ll be remembered where it counts, my friend.
It’s supposedly nearly spring and yet tonight we are supposed to set record low temperatures in some spots nearby again. There is still two feet of snow on my lawn and we have not seen the grass since last year. Yet today was a bright sunny day. Beautiful.
Do well tomorrow.
