I confess, it’s not you Jeanne, it’s me. I’ve been bad bad bad. (like Greg). We have been negotiating the sale of our company which is turning out to be a pretty complicated and time consuming process. But we did sell it and did very well fortunately. Now we have to wait for the feasibility study and should close about December 1st. I can’t wait. this old body of mine is getting pretty tired and Lizzie wants more time as do the dogs. But have no fear, BCC is here to stay and you know we are always a post away. Maybe if Jack would tell us what his golf score is we would become more animated!

Have not golfed very much this year. Been busy at work and BCC work.
But I do check the postings twice a day. Just been too exhausted to say much.
We have several new members on the forum but they seem to be the quiet type.

Don’t you have a putting green in your office and at home and in your car?

I am teeing off at 10:15 this morning on a beautiful sunny (if not cool) day. My golf score is not very good, but the friends I golf with are! And as they say, your worst day golfing is better than your best day working. Fore!

I’ve just been busy and assume that everyone else is. We had a great walk in Calgary but it was a lot of work – worth it though! We exceeded our goal.

Hi all. I’ve been quiet also on the site. Lots of stuff was going on this year – Went to our camp in Northern Ontario and had a very good neighbour of ours die so that hit us pretty hard. Spent the majority of our holiday helping the widow, Linda close her camp for the winter so she could return home after the funeral. They had been in the midst of rebuilding new docks and staining their camp. My hubby, I and good friends on the lake managed to get this done for her so she could head home unfortunately alone. Even though we managed a few laughs and get togethers it certainly wasn’t the summer we had planned. Then I was just nicely home and the next day I was called to go to hospital for pre-op and my surgery for turbt was that Friday (at least I got the coolers unpacked). My surgery went fine even though they removed from my understanding so far 8 to 9 tumors. This week I’m just starting to feel more like myself (I guess that’s a good thing). I see the doc on 23rd of Oct. for results and we all know how stressful the wait can be. Of course like Jack has said before I’m one of the lucky ones that mine are usually Ta’s so I keep reminding myself of that and try not to worry. I thought the loss of my sister earlier this year was going to be my only big hit but guess I was wrong. Now it seems my blood pressure is pretty high so have to see another doc this Tuesday. Oh my!!! the joys of getting older. The good news is we seem to be having a beautiful (weather wise) fall so I’m still able to get out in our gazebo and enjoy the fall colours and the last of my flowers (even though the weeds seem to be winning). I have tried to check in every now and then but certainly I hope to do better as I feel better. I did feel guilty that I was unable to do the ‘walk’ this year even though we contributed – we always had such fun, my hubby and I participating. Maybe next year if all goes well.
    Flo
