I ordered the recipe book that Val recommended (Meals that heal inflammation) but it is still in transit.
I have searched everywhere I can think of and can’t find any info on oats.
    Are quaker oats bladder friendly?
    What about brown sugar?
Does anyone have any info on this?

I had Quaker oats with brown sugar and milk the last two mornings with no apparent effect on the bladder. Am I just lucky or are oats a safe food?

This free course offered by University of California might provide some insights https://www.coursera.org/course/nutrition (module 4 is specifically on Cancer). Help this helps.

These two sites should be very helpful. Trying to find any solid info is difficult since so many sites seem to contradict each other.

Trying to come up with a diet that is easy on the bladder and doesn’t cause constipation is a challenge I am just now beginning to win. I am losing weight because I stopped eating and drinking the foods that irritate my bladder (coolers, juices, soft drinks, chocolate bars etc.) so I’ll need to make sure my diet is also high calorie at least for a while.

My bladder has been fairly calm for the last few days with only slight discomfort. I’m hoping it will keep on improving.

    Thanks for your help
