I was in the hospital for 3 days with chest pains and some horrible running to bathroom symptoms. That was all on the day of the cysto appt.

Heart is ok, they did an endoscopy and biopsy , that is all clear. so they are trying to rule out medicines I may not need anymore or foods that might be causing my pain.

How can you recover from anything when they wake you every two hours? The food was terrible since I was on a heart symptom diet. Yuck.
Nurse screwed up one IV so my arm swelled up and it still is a week later.
Doctor said it will go down. It had BETTER. I am a little grumpy. I

My cat Tripper will be put to sleep Tuesday, so all I do is cry off and on . He is 17 and hurting bad, but I hate!! this. He has bad cancer of the tongue. And it is time….but he has been with us for 14 years after he came to our door during a blizzard. So very, very sad.

Well, that was my week, hope yours was 100% better than mine.
    Big hugs, Jeanne

Holy C***! I think that you should get into the Guiness Book of World records for record number of bad weeks. I sure hope that you will be OK. I’m sorry to learn of your kitty.

Get better. We need you to stick around to continue making your famous pasta sauce and to bug the c*** out of Kiowa.

You’ll always miss Tripper just as I miss Kirby. But think of all the shelter you gave him that night along with food and love, the love and friendship that lasted his entire lifetime. Any chance the anxiety (and knowing you, the worry) about Tripper is causing those symptoms? Tripper wants to go now, Jeanne. But it’s not your time yet. Just get better, I hate it when I feel bad about picking on you when you don;t feel well. Give Tripper a kiss and a hug for me.

I won’t let him go if the doctor won’t let me be holding him. I want him to know his “mom” is there . Not just some unknown face.
I have held every animal we have had to let pass. Not stopping now.

I’ve held all pets or at least been present except for one when they’ve had to be put down or if they are dying. You’re right that it is important for them to know that they are with a loved one. I’m the one who does this for us as my hubby just can’t. I’ve also had the tough decision of surrendering/selling pets ( only lizards and fish) when they got too numerous for us to house. We’ve gotten attached to any pet in this house furry or otherwise.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Jeanne. I believe that there is a special place/heaven for all pets no matter how big or small. It is their reward for their devotion to us crazy humans.

Hope you feel better soon Jeanne. Boy, you and Mike would make a fine pair :). Mike and I are thinking of you and especially sad for the position you are in with your kitty cat. I am sure he will appreciate you being there for him all the way.

Sending hugs and any super-powers we might have.

I want to cuddle him so badly, but he is resting so well right now. Sigh.
