We were so dry in Calgary for so very long that we had a fire ban. Now in just a few short days we are very worried about flooding. My basement has damp spots but so far no real water in it. I think that Mother Nature is throwing one humdinger of a hissy fit to switch gears so fast. We had 5-7 inches of rain this past week and are epecting 2-4 more over the next couple of days. There is a thundershower over me as I write this. So far no hail but we live in “hail alley” so it is just a matter of time. Send me Noah’s Ark someone! LOL!!

I share your concern. We are having the same problem here but it is not all that unusual for us as it is for you. I really think the 11 year sun spot cycle has a lot to do with this. The 11 yr. cycle ends this year and I think we will see a decrease in strange weather soon. I hope!
