Bladder Cancer Canada’s most precious asset is our wonderful volunteers. We are currently looking for volunteers from right across Canada to fill our Patient Information Coordinator positions. In this key role you will develop ongoing relationships, deliver print materials and follow up regularly with hospitals, urology offices, cancer centres and others within your region.

We offer flexible hours to those that are committed to help us promote awareness via our brochures and print media. Access to email communication would be an asset.

Volunteer opportunities are available from St. John’s to Halifax, Montreal to Vancouver and everywhere in between.

If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of those surviving bladder cancer, please contact us at: “volunteeer@bladdercancercanada.org”

    Thank you!

Please contact Ed. This is the most efficient way for our organization to be able to reach out to fellow patients and caregivers. They need to know we are here for them. Only takes a few hours a month gang, and you will be making a huge difference in one’s life.
    Thanks
    Jack

I already do this in Calgary since Ben West and myself run a support group here. We take turns dropping off flyers etc. at the uros offices, cysto suite and BCG clinic and the Prostate cancer center. We get calls so people must be picking stuff up.

If there is anything else that we should be doing please let us know. We’re doing our best to get the word out.

That is fantastic Marysue! That is what we are looking for across Canada. Great people such as yourself and Ben to let people know we are here to help. We are looking for people in all cities from one end to another.

If there is anyone you know that may be interested in helping out, please feel free to have them contact me: “edm@bladdercancercanada.org”

    🙂
