my dad is diabetic and is currently doing chemo. he was told after chemo he has to get is bladder removed. his white blood cells are showing up low when he goes for his blood work piror to chemo. is there anything he can take. the nurse says no to everything even a multivitamin?
My husband had his bladder removed, prostate, lymph nodes etc…..he has never been told to not take vitamins….he does take Vit D…however, he also refused chemo/radiation of any kind….so it could be that the vitamins would interfere with your fathers other medications/and treatments – ….I would check with your Dad’s oncologist or a resident regarding this.
