    Hi Curtis

I had a total of 30 BCG treatments from 2006 to 2009 but did not experienced vertigo. The main side effect I got from the treatments was psoriasis.

Welcome to the group and good luck in being all clear forever.

    Hi Curtis,

I had 21 BCG treatments over a period of 12+ months (2012/2013) and fortunately have not experienced side effects. I did experience the usual flu/cold like symptoms for a day or so immediately after each treatment.

Wishing you the very best in your journey with BC…BCG worked for me…I’ve been cancer free for 6 yrs.

    God Bless!

    Hi Curtis,

I have been having a real problem with balance. I would not call it vertigo, since I don’t feel dizzy at all. I just randomly “tip over” and lose my balance. It is particularly bad in low light or on uneven ground. I have high-grade NMIBC, and have had both Mitomycin and BCG … when the balance issues started, I did some research & found that BOTH of those medications are implicated in balance problems for some individuals.

I was a gold-test ice dancer before my cancer showed up (so you know my balance was pretty good beforehand!), but it has become a real torment.
