Yep, made it two years. Had my 6 month cysto today and my bladder is as pink and smooth as a baby’s bottom. It is now two years post the use of Valstar. I’ll be on a 6 month cysto for some time to come. My urologist did what he promised. While MD Anderson suggested I have my bladder removed he told me he would save me and my bladder for many more years. I thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts. Please keep my urologist is your prayers too. He’s one of a dying breed of physicians who still treats patients he cares deeply about each and every one of them. Unfortunately his brother has bladder cancer now, CIS, like mine. He’ll be having Valstar treatments too. Please keep him and all who have cancer in your prayers.

    Well done old chap!
Hard to keep a good man down – which doesn’t really explain your good news, but I am very happy for you, my friend. Keep the good health and good cheer going for many more years.
Thinking of your doc’s brother too. Perhaps you’ll be able to be a help to him in a way his own doc or brother cannot be.

Wonderful news Kiowa! Wishing you many more ‘baby’s bottom’ results!! Always in our thoughts are the professionals who help us, also those who are newly diagnosed, and those who are dealing with the big C. Thank you for the reminder as well..
