    Good Evening All,

Teresa has asked me to give you all the latest update on Tim (the other T in TnTalways).

It is with heavy heart that I give you this news. Tim is still in hospital and has been receiving radiation on his brain. Wednesday, he was told that he had leptomenengial metastases…meaning the cancer is in the tissue and nerve endings along the brain and spine etc. Tim is in quite a bit of pain and they are having trouble managing it. This news is devastating to both Teresa and Tim.

Today, they were told that Tim will need 3 more rounds of radiation and then will need to go from Hospital directly to hospice which will probably be next Wed or Thursday.

According to Teresa, Tim sleeps pretty much around the clock, eats very little any more and doesn’t have too many lucid moments. “It is pretty obvious that our time together left is short.” is what she wrote to me.

I hope we can all wrap our collective BCC hugs around them and I know that Teresa will get on the forum and read all of our responses so please feel free to write some encouraging thoughts. She needs us right now.

I am thinking that Tim is in the hospice now, and hoping that is a good place for you both. From your Caring Bridge site it seems you have some good support around you. I have been moved and encouraged by the way you write about your journey with Tim through his BC. How great for him to have such a support and champion in you! Praying for you and Tim through this next part of the journey, as are many on this site.

It is tough at times to find the right words to say and this is one…

Tim & Teresa please know you are not alone at this time…your journey continues and yes it is most difficult; now feel the warmth of God’s love with you now and always…God Be With You and Bless You Both…
