ParticipantReally. I mean things a civilized society (not that we are) should avoid. Like the signs at banks and other establishments that say “Drive Thru”. First the spelling is wrong and second it’s ridiculous. People just don;t drive through banks and other building (usually). Oh, and then there is this equally ridiculous “keep your eyes on the road” thing. If I did that I would not be able to see so I would not be driving. And if enough people did it we would be running over, on and around all these eyeballs and that would be squishy and messy. Just think about it. Gross, but nevertheless true. Imagine an interstate covered in eyeballs. OK, this is sick, I admit it, but some sayings just do not make sense. I could go on bu I think I will leave the rest up to Greg and let him get into trouble.

ParticipantMan, that flu bug did something wicked to you! You’ve come back in fine fighting form! LOL!! Only you think of things like this. I have been laughing for a good part of the day. 😛

ParticipantYou take the cake, my friend. But where did you take it? Hands down you’re the most fun. But not hands up!
You really are out to lunch. Of course that’s better than brown bagging it and staying in for lunch.
I am a very down to earth person. As opposed to fly in the sky or fly by night. What’s that all about?
That’s the bees’ knees. Have you ever seen a bee’s knees?
That’s just the cat’s meow. Why not the cat’s purr or the cat’s scratch?
Some of us are down in the dumps. I wonder what kind of “dumps” they’re down in.
Anyway, that’s lights out, flood the rink for me – but you have to be Canadian to understand that one!Greg

ParticipantIsn’t the English language just wonderful?

ParticipantActually Greg, I did take the cake and I continue to take them. I look for up-coming weddings and find out where they are and then sneak in, while making believe I am there to make some cake changes, and I just walk out with it. No one has ever tried to stop me. So weird. You would think someone would question it. Once I put a sign near a cake and wrote “cut carefully, plastic explosives inside”. No one even paid attention to it. Unreal. When it blew up, well that took the cake!

ParticipantKiowa, I’ve got to know… Are you in any way related to MacGyver? Bombs in cakes! Now that really does take the cake! LOL!

ParticipantWell actually no, we are not related but we do have a lot in common, even before I started watching the series which was my favorite show. I love being ingenious. Unfortunately I am under appreciated. But Greg is the one who hopped a train at age nine (years!) and ended up in Chicago. So I think Greg and I have a lot in common too. I can’t believe I said that publicly. OMG!

ParticipantFaster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings with a single bound…look up in the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane, no, it’s Super Kiowa.
