My husband was diagnosed in May 2014 had chemo and RC with neobladder. Has check ups every 3 months. I just found out that his cancer has plasmacytoid features and I would love to hear from anyone with any knowledge about this variant. I’ve read very little because there isn’t much out there to read . But none of it sounds good. It seems to be very aggressive. Thank you for your help.

    Hi Debbie,

I got your private message yesterday and responded to you with my phone number and email so hopefully we can connect so I can give you some more info on the plasmacytoid variant of bladder cancer.

There is not much information out there because it is a VERY rare form of bladder cancer…we are talking 100 cases in the medical literature kind of rare.

I am the type of person who does a lot of research on everything and I ask a lot of questions. I can probably help you and your hubby be prepared for what types of things to ask the docs.

I hope to hear from you when it is convenient.

Take care and know that we at BCC are here for you.

    Monique
