Hi everyone, life has been busy.As l learn more about my new normal, l find l can do
most that l chose. There are still those little things like the night bag coming undone
in the middle of the night, surprize.I ask myself each day, have you lived well today!.
That could mean the simplest of things went well.Work life balance is still a challenge, but lm more willing to live simply. The uncertainty of cancer has help me
enjoy life more, don’t give up live each to your best and sleep well.
I pray this finds you all well .Gods speed

Really glad to hear and pleased for you that your new normal is normal. I recall Greg’s comments in one other posting ” I use to be able to do 10,000 things and now I can do only 9000″…focus on the 9000 and not 1000.

Balancing work and life always challenged me until I reflected back one day and said; work will always be here but I won’t so I’m going to enjoy me and my family first…my perspective on things changed and you know what…the work still got done.

Stay strong, stay positive and stay in the loop…god bless!

Glad to hear your positive attitude. Life is different! I think there is life before cancer & life after cancer. After is very different, we have to adjust. We survive, we go on. We tell bad jokes, support each other, cry a little and get back on getting on.
Good for you! Enjoy your trip!

    Hi Everybody
I met a man recently who reminded me how blessed l am.During our conversation he told me this was his third round of fighting cancer.By the end of this encounter our common thread wasn’t cancer but LIFE.With all it’s emagined trials and tribulations and some VERY REAL ONES.We agreeded we where blessed to have all we did, the good, the bad , the uglie. in some unexplainable way cancer has enriched my life and for this I’m grateful. Our convesation ended with a HUGE HUG and a My prayers are with you. What a beautiful expience with complete stranger at a grandsons hockey game. Two grandpapas living life.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m grateful tobe able to say after 17 months, my CT on September 23/14 showed no signs of Cancer. When l hear my surgeon say hes’ happy with my progrees because he almost gave up on me in surgery because of complications, l’m thankful to God for putting me in the hands of such a gifted man.On days when l don’t feel well or have anykind of pain l don’t complain (much)it just means l’m still alive. To those of you hoo may read this and think, it’s easy for him to say he’s caner free, please keep fighting it’s a tough journey, not give up .
