    Hi all.
    I was diagnosed may 2014 with bladder cancer. I have undergone many surgeries and 12 bcg. I am starting a new drug for me Mitomycin C next week. What are your thoughts, experiences with this treatment? I have re occurrences every time so they want to try this one.

    Hi Tanya

    Mitomycin C is not a new treatment, been used for many years. Many times the Uro will give the patient 1 instillation immediately following a Turbt. Many patients have success with the 1 treatment. If BCG failure and your recurrences are non muscle invasive low grade many have had success with the 6 weekly treatment regime. Not knowing your stage and grade difficult for me to express an opinion in your case. Do you have a copy of any of your pathology reports which indicate your type, stage and grade of the tumors removed?
