Just thought we would let you know that Mike got his 6 month post-op CT results today. ALL CLEAR!!! Dr. Breau is really happy with all of his results. The neobladder is emptying well, chest and pelvic CTs are clear. YIPPEE!

We think he has a slight infection so they have him on antibiotics but the ALL CLEAR makes up for that. The only other thing left to deal with is his extremely low energy but that is up to our family doc apparently.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Excellent news, Monique. Perhaps they’d like to check his haemoglobin and ferritin levels. When my energy was extremely low (could not climb two flights of stairs without stopping) they found both were really low. You’d think they’d think of that – but no one did in my case till I asked them.
    Keep on keeping on!

Great news Monique! Thanks for the update. I agree with Greg. Get those levels checked. Mike has been through a lot so it will take time for his body to recover.

Thanks for the suggestions Greg. I know they checked his haemoglobin and it was fine but I don’t think they did ferritin. Doc also mentioned maybe thyroid. We see our family doc on the 19th so hopefully they can check things out.
