    Hi Dave:

I would like to ask if you know why the Indiana Pouch is not offered more as an option for an RC? In Calgary, it appears that patients are only offered the choices of the neobladder or the pouch. I’m wondering if it is just the case that not too many surgeons are trained in how to do this option or is it that they don’t favour it for some reason. Just curious…

    Hi Marysue

The reason is there are only a few surgeons in Canada who perform this type of diversion.
