I know that it is early but I wanted to get this started as I will be busy for the next couple of weeks enjoying my son’s visit. I don’t have anything other than a dental checkup for January so in addition to Happy New Year let’s wish all those with stuff to do in January all the best!!

Wishing you all great and positive results for your various procedures in Jan. I am very excited that after writing my local uro and including bcc cards, posters etc….he referred me to my oncologist surgeon…in the big city 4 years ago, he has set up an appointment to see me in his clinic to discuss bcc and what we can do to raise awareness and funds. I am a bit nervous as to what I should ask of him. Any thoughts? The appointment is Jan. 18th.

    Hi Betty

The easiest way to create awareness and funds at the same time is to have a walk on the Island in 2013. You can get local newspaper and sometimes TV and Radio time at no charge. Your Dr can assist as he has access to all his patients over the years. Bladder Cancer Canada would supply all the posters banners and any costs associated with the walk. The Dr I am sure can get other patients to assist.
Just a thought, Happy New Year.

Thanks so much Jack. My massage therapist , although she doesn’t have bladder cancer, has offered to help me as she is always doing walks and even marathons for causes. I will keep you posted on how the meeting goes.

Not me , but would appreciate any good thoughts or prayers for hubby’s PSA results. 3rd year and doing well, but it is incurable but treatments work well so far. Just a bit tense waiting.

Best to everyone having anything done.
    Hope all tests are clear.
Thursday I get my carotids ultrasound. See if the one remaining one I have is still open well.

Hubby has results tomorrow … hate the waiting,
