I just don’t get it. Fast food places. that is so ridiculous you know. I mean, I don;t eat at them, ever. First they do not serve food. They serve crap. And second they are not fast. If you go through the drive through you wait in line 20 minutes, get no exercise and waste a lot of fuel and pollute the air while you’re in line. That is sick and stupid. I know some of you use them. No offense intended, really. this is my thinking only. Even though I’m right. And the food? Come on, it would be better to go to the hardware store and buy some chemical cleaners and have a liquid lunch. And as for the drive through part, well that is so absurd. I mean what exactly are you driving through? the restaurant? Well someone actually did that here in town a few years ago. Now that was really a drive through.
I’m not finished, bear with me. More about drive throughs. drive through banks. Really? Try it someday and see what happens. Drive through a bank. What is wrong with parking, getting out, actually walking and take care of business. What do they mean by a drive through. A real drive though would be a passage way right through the middle of the bank.
We have a place here called the Beverage barn. You drive through, literally, to get your sod water or beer, ot tequila. One door you drive through. Once inside a person askes what you would like, you tell him or her and they get it for you. You pay and you leave through the other door. Literally you drive through the building. It’s best if the doors are open. So when you drive in there is all kinds of things on both sides of you. They also have a drive up window if you don;t want to drive through. that makes no sense. What is the point of having both?
This planet is just too weird. I hope Canada is not like that.
Oh, and armed robbery. You pretty much need arms to rob a bank. I have heard of a person with no arms actually rob a bank. Or anything else. That’s like saying legged robbery. Maybe wheel chair robbery. And I still hate chickens. But they don’t rob banks. Ob maybe they do. But I doubt it, they’re chickens.

Plus so many can’t cook! Frozen dinners, fast food, deli foods precooked.We are getting old and grumpy , mister. Let’s face it. We don’t like all the changes. Not one little bit.
But a lot of people making improvements in medicine so we can live longer, so we better learn to live with it. And while we are learning, could you pick up pizza for dinner tonight? :))
Kiowa! Time for you to move to Canada. IF you come to Calgary you can drink all the tequila you want. You can avoid chickens as it is technically illegal to own them within city limits although there are a few hardy souls that defy the bylaws. We have the choice of avoiding drive thrus. HOwever that being said the tradeoff is -30 in the wintertime and the craziness of Stampede and road construction in the summer. So, you have to figure out which is worse. LOL!:P
Marysue, I just cannot come to grips with that kind of trade off. -30 in the winter and endless construction in the one week of summer y’all have? I’ll stay in Texas with the chickens.
-30? YIKES! How could one even pee outside? The pee, among other things, would freeze. Imagine coming in the house with a frozen stream stuck to you and then melts on the floor. What do the animals do? Hold it? This is scary stuff. I think I could write a psychotic novel about this. Jeanne could help, she would be the psychotic part.
I must be going crazy. Yes, I am going crazy. or was I crazy all along? I’m perplexed now. I can imagine giving your doc a frozen urine sample. Weird.
