I’m struggling with sadness over the devastation of the Ft. McMurray fires. That and all the craziness that Albertan’s have endured for the past few years. In 2011 the town of Slave Lake was burned out. 2012 saw a lot of hail and tornadoes south of Calgary. I physically saw one bypass the baseball game that my son was djaying at. 2013 of course was all the flooding in Southern Alberta including the city of Calgary. 2014 we saw a lot of hail and the “Snowtember” snowfall in the Calgary area that devastated more than half the city’s trees and lots of property damage from falling trees. Then late 2014 up to now the oil price crisis and now Ft. McMurray is burning. What gives?

I know many other places in the world have suffered devastation…this is not unique but still so much in such a short period of time…have the gods turned against us?
