    During the awareness walk I had discussions with several people about their urinary diversion and discovered that they do not know about a government grant.

    I have received this grant since my surgery due to the thoughtful nurse at St. Joseph’s Hamilton. It is $600 per year – broken into 2 payments of $300. Incontinence products are not cheap and most benefit packages do not cover them.
