Any issues/delays experienced passing through airport security with an ostomy or ostomy supplies?
I have OHIP. Does that cover me in other provinces?
I plan to take double my expected supplies, one set on me, the other in my checked baggage.
    Have I missed anything?

    Gerry,

You probably have seen this but, just in case … check this out (about OHIP coverage across Canada)

    http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/public/programs/ohip/outofprovince/travellers.aspx

Note that if you need more than Doctor/Hospital, OHIP recommends supplementary travel insurance.
    i.e.
“Typically this coverage (while out-of-province but within Canada) is for insured physician and hospital services only. Therefore, when travelling outside of Ontario but within Canada, the ministry recommends that you obtain private supplementary health insurance for non-physician/non-hospital services. ”

I trust others will chime-in about supply recommendations.

I’ll remember not to carry my metal scissors in my carry-on baggage and pre-cut a couple of wafers. One of the last times I flew, I was given metal cutlery for the in-flight meal….. now… now plastic cutlery and added cost for food… uggh….. oh for the good old days.
