    Hi Friends,
I am, relatively new to Bladder Cancer and have been lucky that the two times in Hosp have revealed fairly low grade cancers! Saying that, am psyching myself that it will be an ongoing process.

This site looks GREAT. I am from Australia. Is there anyone else from Aust on the site? If so, please have a look at this facebook group – https://www.facebook.com/groups/bladdercancersupportaustralia/ and consider joining.

    Thanks and regards,

Hi Phil. Glad to hear your BC is low grade. Keep up with the cystoscopies and any further treatment, if necessary. This is a lifelong disease – even if the disease itself is beat, the exams must continue because it can recur and does so often.

I’m not from Australia; i just would like to go there some day. I know some folks in Melbourne, but that’s the closest I can come.

    All the best.

Same with me, Phil Low grade but it started 18 years ago, went silent for about 17 years or so and then came back. Good thing I went for regular cystos all that time. Never know when it will come back. Be sure to have the cystos at least yearly after you are put on a yearly check up. You will have to do that for the rest of your life but it is well worth it. Never been to Australia but I sure wouldn’t mind if you send me a Kangaroo. I love those animals. Glad to have you on board. Thanks for the link. My best to you.

Welcome to the site Phil! Glad that your BC is low grde and please update us on your treatments and I am interested to know how different it is in Australia. My mom has high grade BC and I am trying to persuage her to eat more veggie and do more exercises which would supposedly do good to her situation, but she is too rebellious at her age of 77 to listen to me! 🙂
