Had my follow up yesterday and I’m now officially 1 year recurrence free! The Doc has set my next follow up in 6 months.

I have to say that I really like Sunnybrook because they go that extra mile. When I was in for my ultrasound on the kidneys, they checked my bladder because “you are here, I’m here, lets give you some piece of mind”. Then yesterday my Doc did some extra prostate and blood test because “We want you happy and healthy for a long long time” despite the all clear.

In short, great professionals that care (no they aren’t paying me for saying that 🙂

I am very happy for you. Always good news to get an “all clear”.
Make sure you take care of yourself – eat properly, drink your water, get sleep. And keep those doctors’ appointments.

(I was at Toronto General yesterday and couldn’t believe that 3 guys didn’t show up for their cystos. Don’t they care about their health? Don’t they know that other people could have had that appointment who are struggling for answers? Don’t they know they were wasting the time of one of the best uros in Canada? – enough ranting!)

Enjoy your great news! Party on!
