Has anyone had results with BCG treating CIS and if so did you have to get your bladder removed later on?

I had a bit of CIS the first time mixed with urolethial carcinoma (the tumours that look like cauliflower). The BCG has gotten rid of the BC for me. I’m over 5 years clear and don’t expect to have to remove my bladder. BCG is supposed to be pretty effective against CIS. I know of another person who had CIS that has had success with BCG as well.

I too had both CIS and low to med grade tumors on the surface of the inner lining of the bladder. In fact, I had 2 recur of the tumors. BCG worked for me…I’m 18 months clear with regular 3 mo checks which is normal for at least 2 yrs. I was a diagonzied with BC July 2012. I hope to keep my bladder too.
