Well my friends this is incredible news. As many of you know our goal for this year’s awareness walk was $150,000 compared to our 2011 actual results of $82,000.
Mission accomplished, as this year’s results are currently an amazing $240,000 as of today. This number will only increase over the next few days and weeks.
I hope to have a final total by the middle of October.
    Congrats Canadians,
    Jack

The major benefit for this year’s walks was the awareness that was created through newspapers and TV. Our mission is that bladder cancer be known by the public just as well as breast and prostate cancer. Together we can accomplish this!!! I am so proud of our team which may only be in the hundreds right now, but there was no team prior to 2009. Soon my friends our team will be in the thousands.
Thanks to all who are making this happen.

Congratulations, Jack, for the amazing work you are doing to raise awareness about bladder cancer and to raise funds that will help develop ever-better treatments and, who knows, maybe even a cure! Well done! We participated in the Vancouver walk. It was a beautiful day and a good time was had by all.

To quote Tom Brown, ” YES WE CAN!”

    Fabulous news!

Awareness = early detection = more research dollars!

    Well done, Canada!!!

Bravo everyone! Job well done! I was walking up a trail in northern Saskatchewan with friends on Sunday. We hiked for BC and it was the longest and hardest walk since my journey started just a year ago.

BCC gave me the strength and hope when I didn’t think there was any. So glad and grateful for all and congrats on this incredible achievement! Keep us going Jack!
    Cheers Canada!
