    Hello again all:

We are heading into the third month of 2020 already.

At any rate, spring is around the corner (we hope).   It has been a long stormy and snowy winter for many.   I just want to express my best wishes and positive vibes/prayers for those that have “stuff” this month.  Nothing for me until April.  ((((HUGS))))

Hi. March 2nd is my first cystoscopy after initial 6 BCG treatments. Resections done Oct. 31st resulted in high grade non invasive diagnosis. Unfortunately biopsies showed ” no muscularis propria (detrusor muscle) identified”. So the TURBT scraping did not go deep enough to test muscle tissue. Don’t know what to hope for. If there are recognizable tumors another attempt to test muscle is possible. If no tumors can be seen then the health of my bladder muscle remains unknown. Am I missing anything in my logic?

March 25 2020. I will be having my Staging Turbot. This is 10 weeks after my first Turbot. Stage 1 High grade. Maybe a little early to be concerned but with the corona virus spreading I hope hospitals are not closed or operations canceled because of it overwhelming health care services. Just something else to worry about. Edwin.

Up date. I used the time between procedures to take a few weeks in Cuba. Then the virus went crazy and we got home on Monday to 14 day quarantine. My surgery was booked for next week so I needed to re book, now I wait and hope they don’t cancel all operations in the hospital. I am apparently a high priority now, but I’m not sure how many high priority are ahead of me? I know the world is upside down right now and I’m trying not to freak out but , man the timing sucks.
