    Hi Again All:

It is hard to believe that I’m posting for the 3rd month of 2018 already.  I hope that spring will come early but judging by what I see out my window this morning I have my doubts.  I think I will go find me that groundhog that said we were to have an early spring… Ah! Poor critter! We shouldn’t blame him.

Anyhow, all in jest….I am just sending my best wishes for all those doing “stuff” this month and that does include me this time.  I’m up for my 20th cysto on the 22nd.  Hoping for the start to my 9th year all clear.  (((((HUGS)))))

All the best Marysue with your upcoming cysto, and I also extend best wishes to everyone going through check-ups, treatments, and surgeries during March.

I had my 30 month Cysto today … All clear.

    Pretty Happy about that.

Urologist says we will skip the 30 month BCG and only do the last 36 month BCG because my Risk level is Intermediate.  In fact, he also said that we could have stopped the BCG at the 24 month maintenance.  Pretty Happy about the BCG treatment plan as well.  The 24 month BCG maintenance was difficult to get through.

He is sending me for another CT scan just to make sure my Kidneys and ureters are OK.  If the CT Scan will be clear, and the 3 year check (September 2018) will be clear … I will be going on yearly Cysto check-up schedule.

Finally, looking at the Bladder images, I asked the Urologist, “What are those small brown dots on my bladder wall?”.

His answer was, “That is the residual tissue from the BCG.  It will clear up.”

Wow, No wonder the BCG maintenance side effects become more difficult as one goes along.  It was 5 months since my last instillation and the bladder is still not fully healed.

    God Bless
