ParticipantHi again all!
We are heading into the halfway point of 2017 already. I’m impatiently waiting to plant my garden. Hopefully others have survived the flooding down east and in the interior of BC and may Mother Nature give us all a decent summer after a cold winter and crazy spring. Many of us will need to build arks.
Nothing medical for me this month, but positive thoughts, prayers and best wishes to all that have “stuff” this month. ((((((HUGS))))))

ParticipantI’m scheduled for a RC on June 30th. I’ve pretty well decided on the neo bladder. My urologist says that will give me the best chance of seeing my daughter graduate so while not saying it was an easy decision for me but it narrowed my choices down to rolling the dice trying BCG treatments or going with the best long term odds. I am scared though…..

ParticipantMorning All
Hopefully everyone is enjoying this nice long weekend!!
My followup apt is scheduled for June 9th. This will be the first 3/month check after my TURBT in February. Please keep me in your prayers for a positive outcome and I thank you a million times for being such great helpers along the way.
Enjoy your day!

ParticipantHi all,
First round of BCG coming up … starting June 7. I see some go through it fairly easily, but some have troubles. I’m worried, but the biggest worry beforehand is how toxic will I be, & how to keep things safe … SCARED.
On top of that, it looks like I may have multiple myeloma as well. Hoping to know for sure before undergoing the BCG.How many more shoes are there to drop?

ParticipantHappy Sunday Everyone
I’m very happy to report that my first “3 month check” was nice and clear. It was wonderful to see my bladder just as it should be!
Best wishes to all

ParticipantThanks Jack!
I felt like such a whimp while waiting for the doctor to show up to conduct the scope. It’s hard to put into words the comfort one feels after hearing “all clear…see ya in 3 months”. He did tell me a great story about a gentleman who has been clear for 19 years. He had his TURBT and every year after that, the results were “all clear”. 19 years !!!!!
That was such an inspiration to hearJune 14, 2017 at 11:02 pm #21730cheryl9
ParticipantHello Ron
How did BCG go? That first one can be scary until you go through it and realize it isn’t so bad. It also is the key to your future so even if there is some discomfort, it sure is worth it.
I have had 27 BCG treatments.
Take care
