Well, it is that time again….Another month is coming to a close. Can you believe it that we are approaching the halfway mark of the year already? Where did the time go? Nothing for me this month – just checkup stuff for the kids. Oh, and my third son is getting a cyst removed from behind his right ear on the 20th. Still tame compared to BC. Positive thoughts and prayers to all of you having stuff done this month.

I have my one year CT scan on June 11th, just a few days shy of the first anniversary of losing my bladder to BC – my neo is working fairly well with just a few hiccups – hoping for an all clear on the 11th.

I’m good. So far anyway. Well actually not but nothing cancer related. Just the insane neuropathic pain and spinal stenosis. But that’s better than cancer. .I do have a colonoscopy in July though. Does that count? Oh yeah, and a cysto in June. Wait, what calendar are we on. Oh, whatever. Anyway, my prayers are with all of you. I keep all of you in my prayers everyday.

3 month Cystoscope on June 10 the last one was all clear but I had a lot of bright red blood and huge clots Saturday and Sunday and am quite concerned that there is another tumor.

Oh, OK, this is the June Calendar. Yeah, I have a cysto. Hoping for an all clear which will bring me close to 4 years clear. But we’ll stay on the 6 month schedule. My colonoscopy (routine 5 year one post colon cancer in 1997) is not bladder cancer related (obviously, no comments please Greg which means you will make one).

So my scheduled CT scan in two days (June 11) is now a cystoscopy AND a CT scan, after passing a fair amount of bloody urine in the last 24 hours. That’s pretty much a first for me since getting my neo one year ago. Appreciate the thoughts and prayers for an all clear, for obvious reasons, as well as the fact that my wife and I have a big trip booked for next month. ThoUGH I don’t love cystoscopies, I love my doc and hospital for getting me in so quick! Will be good to have peace of mind while travelling if all is ok on Wednesday.
