Here we are May 15th in the middle of #BladderCancerAware month and we have been shouting loudly across all social network channels. We have heard from a number of people for the first time. We are so happy to welcome new faces and volunteers to our community. I know there have also been some folks who have faced some challenging times. I know of one friend who has had a radical cystectomy. Sadly I know of one friend who has succumbed to metastatic bladder cancer. Regardless of the situation, our community at Bladder Cancer Canada remains dedicated to supporting our patients and their caregivers and loved ones. YOU could help with that support by volunteering with us now. Find a place for you to have comfort in supporting others along their journey. Wishing everyone well this “mid May morning”.
