    • I am  now two years post my 2d round of non invasive  bladder cancer  and receiving BCG every 6 months .
    • about a week after my scope (no tumors found)  my bladder starts acting up and my pee becomes cloudy.
    • It hurts to pee and and feels like a UTI but urine test shows no infection but very elevated red (80) and white (500) blood cells
    •  It  feels very similar to  what it feels like after I get a BCG treatment  with some blood and visible debris when I urinate .
    • this has happened the last 3 times I had a scope in between treatments.

Just wondering if anyone else has this  happen   and

any suggestions for calming the bladder besides  lots of water ?

    Hi Steve H:

My suggestion would be to contact your family doctor or uro and get rechecked for a UTI. Cloudy urine is nearly always indicative of a UTI. Same for burning when you pee. I nearly always get UTIs after a cysto so now when I got for checkups I ask my uro for an antibiotic ahead of time. The nurse brings me a Cipro pill to take just prior to the exam. It seems to work because I’ve been infection free for nearly a year.
Failing that and if a UTI is still not detected I think that your uro needs to investigate further.
I found after BCG treatments my bladder is spastic for some time after the treatments are completed. To calm my irritated bladder I find putting a warm hot water bottle or heating pad on my tummy helps a lot. So does acupuncture treatments.
    Hope this helps. ((((HUGS))))
