Had my 3 month scope and all was good and start 3 more BCG’S in June. Very happy about that.
After the test my urologist came in and said because it was high grade and it came back before a year that if he has to go in again and finds multiple tumours that it is time to look at different options. Then he went on to explain that they can do wonderful things to rebuild another bladder etc. I guess he wanted me to be really be informed that it always a possibility but took some of the spring out of my step. Lol. My husband was happy that he was not taking any chances and staying on top of things.
Still thinking positive that the BCG’S and my faith will have me BCG 4 ever as Jack says.

    Hey YG,
Here’s to a good series of BG.
If you are ever going to think about different options, as I am sure you are well aware, make sure you do it with a major cancer centre and a uro-oncologist who does this every week. No point in being someone’s practise patient! However, sounds like he’s a careful doctor and that is fantastic. If he does lots of these he may be your man; if not, not so much. But let’s hope none of it is necessary. Blessings.

Happy to hear you got an all clear and good luck with your continued BCG. Unfortunately bladder cancer is such that there is forever the possibility of extreme measures. It just never goes away really. Even if it doesn’t come back physically, it is still ever present in one’s mind. I wish you the best.
