ParticipantCongrats Jack! I’m waiting to get that cystoscopy now. Dr is 2 hours late as per usual. Hopefully, I get good news too!

ParticipantHello Jack
So glad for you! You are an inspiration to everyone.
My surgery #2 was initially considered a recurrence. This would have meant that I did not respond to BCG and I anticipate, looking back, the uro was going to look at taking my bladder. After he had some time to think it through, he decided the tumors (4) were probably there with the initial surgery (1 large and numerous superficial working on closing off the urine flow from my left kidney). One year later I did have a true recurrence. Freaky, freaky, freaky when you are in the middle of it. Uro emphasized not to worry and I kept thinking: easy for you to say. 6 BCG treatments and two clears behind me, I now trust my uro a whole lot more. Had one more tumor that was missed with the surgery (done by a less experienced uro) a month later because I insisted that my bladder didn’t feel right. A world of difference an experienced uro makes!
Now Jack, not too much partying today you still need your beauty sleep!
Take care

ParticipantWonderful news Jack! This is a great way to start off 2016.
I have a cystoscopy tomorrow and am praying for an “all clear”
I also have to prepare myself if there is another recurrence. The anxiety you go through is just awful. I feel I have aged 10 years.
