Well, I definitely had a senior moment this morning. My usual breakfast is a bowl of porridge that I add frozen fruit, usually blueberries and other goodies to before nuking it in the microwave. This morning my porridge took on a totally new flavour. Green peas! I was not totally awake and grabbed the bag of frozen peas which is the same colour (yellow – noname) as the frozen blueberries. The peas had mixed in with the dry porridge flakes and I wasn’t awake enough to attempt removal so I just added blueberries and nuked as usual. My surprise was that the peas were barely detectable. I guess I can forgive myself as I turned 55 last week and have been burning the candle at both ends with course stuff and home renos. Kiowa, I need some of your tequila to wake me up! Tea doesn’t quite do it.

PEAS!!!!?????? Peas are green, blue berries are blue and they both come in a yellow bag with no name? Did I get that right?

Yes you got that right. We have a bulk food grocery chain called “The Real Canadian Superstore”. They package their bulk noname products in yellow plastic bags with just the item name on the outside. Usually its not an issue but this morning I was operating only on radar. Felt good getting my veggies in though.

I thought this would peak your curiosity so I wrote about it. It’s been too friggin’ quiet here lately so I’m trying to stir things up a bit.

It definitely peaked my interest. And it has been quiet. But that’s the nature of forums. Geesh, we have not even been discussing Jack’s golf games! Now that is serious! Have to talk to Alexander Keith about that.
