I had my first 3 month cysto this morning at Sunnybrook. The last time I had one was in May, when I was first diagnosed. I was an in-patient for that one. Today, was my first as an out-patient.
This one went very quickly (unlike the last one). I can only assume that since there wasn’t two large tumors in the way, it was easier for the doctor to take a good look around. And of course, “all normal” were his words. He also says that it seems I may being staying that way, at least for the foreseeable future. I certainly hope he is wright.
I have been booked in for a “maintenance” round of BCG in few weeks but like Dr. Klotz said, “You dodged a bullet so a little extra BCG is a small price to pay”.

Awesome news Chris! It appears we are going to the same hospital! I’m with Dr. Kodama.

Cheers to the great news and many cystos with the same result!

That is great news Chris. Dr Koltz is certainly on top of things with a scheduled maintenance program. My situation was much similar and the closer watch you get at this stage should lend to a greater positive outcome down the road.

You certainly seem to be in good hands with Dr Koltz…stay with the program to support a favourable outcome.

    Cheers & be well!!!

    Rick
