I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis but glad you found this site. Many people on this site have been exactly where you are and you will find lots of support here. My husband thought he had a bladder infection only to find out he also had muscle invasive bladder cancer. He had his bladder removed and a neobladder put in its place. Sounds like they are getting you in quickly which is a good thing.
You will likely hear this over and over again but it is important that you get a copy of your pathology report so you know exactly what you are dealing with. Write down your questions for the doctor…it is easy to get off topic and rushed out and then kick yourself for not asking something.
Also, feel free to ask as many questions here as you like. EVERYONE here is super-supportive and there are other women on the site who can help you. I know it’s a scary time but just know that we are here for you and with you. I know we would not have gotten through any of this without Bladder Cancer Canada.
