Ki, as the others have echoed your sentiments, at least it isn’t cancer. But somehow I think that you must be trying to get into the guiness book of records for the most complicated medical history! (Only kidding!) That being said you are a true testement to the resilience of the human spirit. I truly hope that you find a way to manage the pain and can avoid surgery.
I do recommend acupuncture. I go for regular treatments. I have done it for over 10 years off and on and got serious about it when diagnosed wth BC. It helped me recover from surgery and lessened the side effects of BCG treatments and also helped with menopause hot flashes. It does help with pain and inflammation so I think that it is worth a try. Check out the acupuncturist’s background though as they often specialize in certain areas. Mine is also an MD from China. She isn’t licensed to practice in Canada but does use her medical knowledge combined with her knowledge of Traditional Chinese medicine to treeat patients. She has knowledge of cancer so that is why I go to her.
If you do have to have surgery, get them to put tequila in the IV. Be well, my friend.
