It is painful to say the least. I will be seeing a specialist in this field as soon as I find the best one for the surgery. The concern at this time is that continued pressure on the spinal cord can cause irreparable damage. I understand the nature and treatment of this problem but I want to get ALL the info I need and get the best of the best. I’d rather not have surgery of course but the course of this disease is that it continues to get worse so surgery is likely inevitable. I’m sure I’ll need an MRI, a CAT scan and a Dog scan. I had a whole body scan about 8 years ago for ruling out bone cancer and I saw the MRI’s at that time and the spurs were pretty extensive so I’m not at all surprised by this. Of course I will accept tequila donations (kidding of course). If I solicit tequila on this site Jack will pong me to death with golf balls. But it’s unlikely he could actually hit me with one. A club maybe though! Ouch!
