My heart goes out to you and your mom and dad. What a journey they have been on. Your mom might be trying to come to grips with all that has happened over the last few months and feeling completely overwhelmed. We each deal with the ‘cancer’ diagnosis in different ways, so there is no right or wrong way to handle it. For now perhaps this is what is right for your mom. Love her, be there for her and when she’s ready we’re all here to help however we can. In the meantime we’re also here for the caregivers so ask away – there are lots of very knowledgeable folks on here. Wishing you all the best going forward on this journey no one wants to be on.
