Mostly these TURBTs are done on an outpatient basis, but I was kept in overnight for the first one (I had 6). Usually in first thing in the morning and home by mid to late afternoon. Don’t be surprised if you are also started on a six week program of treatment following the pathology results, depending on stage and grade. Jack always recommends getting a copy of the pathology report so you know what you’re dealing with. Good advice.
