No sooner than my mother-in-law finish her antibiotics for the infection, 2 days later she was back in and admitted. After the tests, it was discovered that her kidneys were not draining properly.. She is home once again with a drainage tube and bag from both kidneys, they will be in place for about a week and if it does not fix the problem then stents will go in internally and hook up to her stoma…fingers crossed that all goes well.
She is starting to get a bit depressed about all of this, but thanks to the wonderful people on this site her tears today, are now tears of thanks for complete strangers, you see, today I received a package in the mail, addressed to me but for her, I had NO clue as to what it could be, it came from an address in Calgary…and was a GORGEOUS handmade quilt. We would like to thank the person/persons responsible for this, your kindness has not gone unnoticed.
