No kidding! I’ve seen that attitude before including my first uro. Those docs think that they are minigods and patients should consult them on everything and not think for themselves nor help themselves in any way. Docs who are open minded and realize that patients actually have brains and can understand and help themselves are the ones I gravitate to and will consult. The docs who are patient oriented are the ones that truly want people healed not the former ones. I have often suspected but haven’t been able to prove that some docs only half treat a patient so that the patient doesn’t completely heal and has to constantly be there. That of course drives up the cost of health care; doctors charging the health care system more and of course the patient costs to the system. Those docs only care about their pocket book not the patient.
