That would be something to ask at the BCG clinic. Like everything else with BC it varies with each doc. When I did my first 6 week regime in 2008 I had to go for a blood test after the 6 weeks to check for red blood cell count and kidney function. The uro didn’t bother the next time. Calgary uros don’t rely on urine tests very much which I find rather ironic. Go by the way you feel too. IF they don’t order any blood tests etc. and you feel like you have a bladder infection or fatigue lingers long after BCG is finished get checked out. I felt very fatigued and even though I didn’t bother to get checked out (dumb, now that I look back in hindsight) I did go on a natural iron supplement and felt better very quickly. Before doing anything I did check with your doc first to see if that is right for you.
