HI Clarice. Sorry that you have need of us and the surgery that you must consider facing. I too, am a bladder cancer survivor but not having had to have my bladder removed. I suggest that you take Jack and Greg’s advice and consider a second opinion. I agree that you are caught between a rock and a hard place. I think a major thing to take into account is any other health conditions that you have especially at your age. The type of applaince will have to be considered as well. Take Jack up on his offer to get you in touch with a female survivor in your area. She will be able to give you the low down on the situation. Keep in touch and let us know how we can help.
