Thanks for your support Zina. It takes another mom raising boys to understand. With all my boys when they have been in the 17-20 age group I have found it is a case of that they want adult priveledges but not the responsibility that goes along with it. IE: they want money but don’t want to work to earn it. LOL! It sure takes a long time to drill it into their thick skulls that it doesn’t work that way. Bring on the empty nest! Some moms dread the empty nest but I’ve been active parenting for close to 30 years and am ready for some FREEEEDOOMMM!!
As for the disorganization, I had to “train” my hubby when we were first married as he was the same way first thing in the morning he’d be panicking where were his keys, wallet, bus pass etc. He caught on quickly and had no issues with my suggestion of a designated spot for wallet etc. Men! OK, NOw we wait for Kiowa’s rebuttal for this one. 🙂
