I was reading my medical record and I already got a cystoscopy and this was the report. This was performed on December 2011. I will be turning 41 in january
Procedure:
16 French cystoscopy was performed. The urethra was normal. The prostate was not enlarged. The bladder was completely normal in its appearance with the exception of the dome at the bladder. There was an 8 nodular extravesical but intruding into the bladder lesion.it had smooth thick walled border. The urothelium around this lesion was completely normal. Without any intravesical component to this I was unable to ascertain whether or not there were any abnormal features within the lesion. There was not fistular tract as one can often see in urachal sinuses or cysts. The scope was removed and a Foley catheter was inserted.
I have agreed to see patient 3 months with another ultrasound……
